A little update
I've spent the day so far being doctor and trying to avoid catching the flu like the, well, plague! Graham's not doing too good so I'm hoping my immune system holds up. In the meantime, I'm procrastinating from the cleaning and housework and writing a blog post to cheer me up!
I am so loving Malteasters being back in the shops! I love these little things but I only buy them as a treat! I'll also stock up on creme eggs and mini eggs and then I'll moan that it's too early!
Talking about chocolate, I really need to start thinking about healthy eating a bit more. My diet is poor, and I find myself snacking a lot and usually on chocolate. I've noticed a huge difference in my skin recently and I know it's because I've been eating all the chocolate I got at Christmas! If I could limit myself to a row or too, I'd be fine but I just can't help myself. I find my skincare routine does help clear up my blemishes and spots, but I'd like to be able to go out without needing foundation to hide my red face! I'm currently using Dermalogica which I posted a review about here, which works great but I need to sort out my diet. I'd like to cut out the bad stuff and replace it with fruit such as raisins and grapes so I can snack on them throughout the day instead. I think it will make a huge difference with my weight too so hopefully I'll be happier and feel less sluggish! Do you have any suggestions for me for healthy snacks?
I posted the other day about finding a nice new pair of winter boots and I think I may have found them on ShoesbyMail. I usually go for brown boots but I am loving this pair by Clarks, and it's in the sale too so I might treat myself come payday.
In other news, I've been trying to read more and have just started reading the Harry Potter series again! I recieved this bookset for Christmas and the cover art is really nice. I also recently finished reading 'Oh Dear Silvia' by Dawn French and really enjoyed it. It's very different from her first novel 'A Tiny bit Marvellous' but I really like her writing style and humour!
