About
Hi, I’m Katie! I’m a mixed-media sketchbook artist based in the south of England, living right next to the beautiful New Forest. My work is often inspired by nature and I love to explore and paint both in my studio and plein air.
I experiment a lot and often change mediums depending on what suits the subject best. My sketchbooks are filled with drawings and paintings of landscapes, animals, buildings and sketches inspired by travel. I think the most important thing to remember when creating is to have fun and be playful! Art is about the process, not the end result.
I teach and share my art on YouTube, Patreon and Instagram, and my main aim is to encourage more people to pick up their sketchbooks and discover their creative joy!
