Dior False Lashes Review
I was sent these Dior fake Eye Lashes in 002 Gold Crystals from their 2012 christmas collection and I have to say at first I was a bit shocked. Gold crystals and super long crossed lashes aren't very me and I was worried they might look trashy on! Can you believe this was the first time I've ever tried false lashes? I watched a Lisa Eldridge video to get the basics but these actually went on really easily and I had no problems at all! I cut them to size as I found them a bit too long but the strip bends really easy and the glue it came with worked well. As a heads up, don't put eyeliner on before hand! There's no point with these lashes as the strip covers it anyway and the gold crystals act as your eye makeup so there's really minimal effort for such a dramatic effect.
And the result? I love them! I have a work christmas party in December and I'm planning on wearing these. And now I wear contact lenses, I don't have the worry of them being hidden or the lashes coming in contact with my glasses. Of course they are too over the top for day wear and at £19 a pop I'm expecting to be able to wear these for years to come, but I'm impressed with the quality and the ease of application. I found this image and I love the look of the gold eyeliner with them so I'll look for some when I next go shopping. Now, thats the makeup sorted, all I need now is a dress! xo
