Shut your eyes

 

It's been a long time since I've worked in my art journal but I've really been wanting to create again in the past few weeks. I miss the idea of creating something that documents my life and that I can look back on in the future! I've actually 'finished' my previous journal (the pink patchwork one), although it still has a few pages that need finishing but I was too tempted to start a new one for 2012. It's going to be a big year for me, so I hope I don't lose motivation and keep with it.

I bought some washi tape from here the other week after not giving in to the 'trend' for so long, but I picked some pretty cute neutral colours and really love them. I haven't used them in my journal yet but I'm sure I will!

I'll take more photos as I keep creating pages, probably close up ones rather than the spreads like above, so you can see a bit more detail. Do you have a journal? What inspires you? xo
